Originally nine distinct pieces, I saw them longing to break past their edges and commune with one another. I like when shapes are generous with us — when they multiply and show us strength in numbers, and when they interact and show us strength in connection. I’ve received many versions of the lesson that we’re all different, and equally many times, in equally many ways, I’ve been taught we’re all the same.
